DEAR READERS,
Today marks a historic moment in our search for Bigfoot. I heard what I can only say was a Bigfoot yell. I heard it this morning and I was quite excited about it. I knew what it was, I had heard it before. It was short but bitter sweet. Let me share it with you.
This morning I awoke from a sound sleep at around 6:30 AM (Pacific Standard Time) I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, really. I then decided it was Sunday and would sleep in late. So I did. I crawled under my bedding and quickly dozed off.
I awoke again at approximately 11:00 AM (PST) During my regular routine of getting up, filling the water jugs, heating the water etc., I notice a strange sound coming from down the green-belt. I listened intently as I compared this familiar wail to anything known to science. I had heard it before, last year at this time of year.
I'll describe it for you. As I listened, I first noticed that this thing, this yell was not completely animal. The closest animal noise I could compare it to would be the moo of a cow or a bull, but for a longer duration. Much longer in fact it would take you or I most of our lung capacity to do it. It was a long
mournful wail. A characteristic of the Bigfoot creature.
At the same time, the cry didn't sound completely human, either. It had human qualities, but the similarities end there. It was coming from the direction of the deep wood, accessible from my site. It is where wildlife meets human-kind and exactly the place that one would expect for a Bigfoot habitat...remote and inaccessible by transportation. The only way in is on foot.
My mind continued to race as I kept pouring over the possibilities in my mind. I wanted to rule-out any
possible explanation. I was not positive, about my identification of the cry. On the one hand, I was sure it was the legendary Sasquatch of the Pacific Northwest. On the other, I was lacking any possible evidence, solid or otherwise. I just let it go and decided that I would explore my options and the possibilities.
The morning started out partly cloudy and cool, around 58 degrees. It started to rain later in the afternoon. It is really wet, which is normal for this part of west-central Washington State, USA.
My tent leaks, so I spend a lot of my time cleaning up the mess that it makes. I don't know if you are aware of this but the inside of a tent has its own, mini-weather system. Moisture condenses on the cooler fabric of the canopy and the tent forms rain drops that fall like crazy
every time the wind blows. It pays to have a lot of towels handy, for the wiping down of the interior of the tent.
I'd crack the vent to my tent but it only
seems to make things worse.
Please stay tuned, for the naked truth about Bigfoot will be revealed in my next
message. This is information that you won't hear anywhere else. Just remember
where you heard it from. The Bigfoot Chronicles by CJ Montgomery can only be found at this website:

I am writing this by the lamp powered by a deep-cycle, 12 volt battery. It is never really bright enough for my tastes, but I suppose it is bright enough to jot down my thoughts on this laptop.
Bigfoot is on the move. This means that he could start poking around my encampment at any moment. I think that these creatures do it more for
curiosity than they do to bother anyone. It's just creepy knowing its out there and the only thing
separating me from it... is the walls of this tent and the beating of my heart.
